In addition to being able to source all but the most obscure car hoods, ETC also have a national network of insurance approved 'fitters' who can expertly fit your soft top to perfection. We can normally quote you an exact price for your fitting BEFORE you even purchase your hood from us, and some of our recommended fitters are able to fit at your home or workplace (you'll pay them directly, and we can arrange to have your hood delivered straight to them). We also have our own fitting bays at our Oxted Headquarters (we are located almost opposite Oxted Mainline Station, direct to London Bridge/Charing Cross and Victoria), so you can leave your car with us in the morning and collect in the evening on your way home from work.

For those customers preferring to fit their own roofs, a set of basic instructions and rivets are sometimes included with their hood. This depends on the hood manufacturer, but we'd also recommend using some of the excellent resources now available on the Internet where advice can be had from those who have completed a similar fit before (there's often also some handy tips!)

A common question from our customers is 'can I fit my roof myself?' and the answer is quite simply - 'Depending on your DIY capabilities, tools and the hood'. The reason we state this is because some cars are more difficult to fit roofs to than others, and obviously peoples skill sets are different. However, as a rule of thumb, for the majority of hoods, a DIY fit is possible as no particular specialist tools are normally needed other than a drill, glue, rivet gun and screw driver.
